YEAR 1 NEON + R: DATA ANALYSIS WORKSHOP
Albuquerque, New Mexico

The 2022 NEON + R: Data Analysis Workshop was held on January 2-6, 2022. Emerge fellows traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico to stay at Sevilleta Field Station where they spent three full days and four nights. Days were spent mining and analyzing aquatic NEON data with Program R, writing and submitting abstracts for the 2022 Joint Aquatic Sciences Meeting, and exploring Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge.

Emerge funded 4 undergraduate students, 6 graduate students, and 2 early career professionals (total: 12) to participate. This workshop was led by Co-PI Dan McGarvey with support from Co-PI Amanda Rugenski and Breanna Ondich (Emerge Program Coordinator).
